This site, as shown in the picture to the right, is currently a large block of very dilapidated garages.

This quiet area adjacent to the main thoroughfare through Bamber Bridge with its shops, food outlets and other facilities has excellent road and rail links and will benefit greatly from regeneration from an eyesore to an attractive building.

Planning approval has been obtained to build a block of eight flats. We will be creating an extension to the existing Ellen Street and as a result the building will be called Ellen House, which happens to be the first name of a local deceased dignitary.

We await a “stopping up order” from the Government of the Regions for the changes to the road layout . As soon as this is obtained we will demolish the garages and start the build.
