Completed in November 2006 this was the first time that Zurich had overseen a timber frame building of this type from their North West branch. Building in timber shows our commitment to our mission statement and intent to maximise sustainability in our developments.

By sensitively renovating these 1830’s built houses we were able to create modern living spaces without compromising on internal and external detail in a Conservation Area.

Building these houses in matching stone adjacent to the existing houses we were able to blend from old to new within this Conservation Area without compromising on build quality.

Demolishing a redundant brick 1930’s built Queens Hotel Public House enabled us to build more stone houses within this Conservation Area to continue the street scene we had preserved and developed.

This forms part of the development on the site of the former Queens Hotel, just off Church Road. In total we have provided homes for twenty families who can enjoy the benefits of this Conservation Area.
